Translated By: Manjhi Muhammad Ali Jamari

Translated By:  Professor Muhammad Hashim Solangi

I know not why my sweetheart
dwells in my eyes, I know not why?
It seems the flight of her eyes
 has caused my love's agony

The Spring season has come
 with brimming bowls of wine,
I know not in what, what attire
she has adorned her body?

Neither I know the depth nor
 the magnitude of her beauty
O I've been looking her ever
since long carefully,

No blooming age's droplets
fell upon me, fell upon me,
Yet she's got the light my eyes,
 extinguished away!

The goblet that has been splashing,
the same has ever been thirsty,
Let someone come to get the thirst
of Sindhu quenched away!

Neither there's Manjhi
nor there's any boat, barren is the sea
Peeping and peeping,
I passed the whole night away!
